AirMesh™ is COCOSIN's signature body-adaptive stretch mesh, developed in our atelier to solve a specific problem: the occasion dress that fails the day it has to perform.

COCOSIN's wedding-guest customers had been telling us the same story for years. They had bought serious dresses at serious prices from serious brands — and the dress had still failed them at the wedding. The chiffon turned out to be plastic. The bodice printed sweat lines under stage lights. The fabric wrinkled the moment they sat down to dinner. The pattern repeated so consistently across reviews that we eventually concluded it wasn't a manufacturing failure. It was a design philosophy failure: the wedding-guest category had been built around photographs of dresses rather than the experience of wearing one for ten hours.

We started developing AirMesh™ to engineer a fabric backward from that ten-hour test.

What it is

A featherweight stretch mesh engineered to behave more like skin than like cloth. It moves with the body rather than against it, breathes in heat, sculpts without compressing, and drapes without going sheer. The fabric recovers its shape after sitting through dinner, after a four-hour reception, after a flight home.

How it behaves on body

AirMesh™ adapts to a wide range of body shapes — from petite through curve — because the stretch is engineered into the construction rather than added at the seams. In photographs it reads as drape, not compression. In artificial light it does not print sweat lines. In humidity it does not turn sheer.

Across the year

Lightweight without being summer-only. The same dress that handles a July coastal wedding handles a September gallery opening and a December evening event. It layers under a tailored coat in cooler weather and stands alone in warm climates.
